Why Henderson paint fades faster
Henderson's own water report puts tap water at about 267 ppm (16 grains per gallon) of hardness. That is the white crust you see on your shower glass, and it does the same thing to your clear coat every time a sprinkler hits the car or you wash it in the driveway. Add summers that regularly top 110°F and the dust that rolls through the valley, and uncoated paint goes chalky, spotted and swirled within a few seasons.
☀️ Heat & UV
Summers that regularly pass 110°F oxidize clear coat and fade reds and blacks. Coatings add a UV-resistant layer on top.
💧 Hard-water spots
Henderson water runs about 16 grains per gallon. On bare paint, spots etch in; on a coating they rinse away.
🌬️ Dust & swirls
Wiping dust off dry paint causes most swirl marks. A slick coating lets dust blow or rinse off instead.
Most Henderson clients choose the 5-Year Graphene Armor: it handles the heat better than a basic ceramic and keeps hard-water spots from etching in.

Ceramic coating questions
Do you really come to Henderson?
Yes. Our Henderson crew works across Green Valley, Anthem, Seven Hills, MacDonald Highlands, Inspirada, Lake Las Vegas and the rest of the city. Your quote confirms the date and the address.
Will Henderson's hard water ruin a ceramic coating?
No — that is the point of it. Mineral spots sit on top of the coating instead of etching into the clear coat, so they rinse or wipe off. We also show you how to dry the car so spots never get a chance to bake on.
How much does ceramic coating cost?
Sedans start at $1,050 for our 3-Year Ceramic Shield, $1,575 for 5-Year Graphene and $2,625 for Lifetime. SUVs and trucks cost a little more. Paint correction is included in every package, and new clients get a $150 paint-prep credit.
How long does it take?
Plan on a full day for the 3-Year and 5-Year packages and up to two days for Lifetime. Most of that is paint correction — that is what makes the gloss.
How do I take care of it afterwards?
Keep it dry for the first 24 hours and skip soap for a week. After that, a gentle hand wash every couple of weeks is all it needs. We send you a simple care guide.
